Eph. 2:11-18 “Peace for the Nations”

Passage: Ephesians 2:11-18
Service Type:

Mankind rightfully longs for peace and seeks it in various ways, whether through politics, economics, philosophy, etc.  These may have some relative success, but it is never absolute.  A permanent solution for the warfare that plagues our world and our hearts has come, though - His name is Jesus Christ.  He has accomplished peace, peace with God and peace with one another.  This occurs within the sphere of His Church, the "new man".  It is carried out as men, women, and children from various backgrounds with various sins accept and unite with one another in joining a local church.  The great goal is the glory of God, which occurs as each local expression of this "new man" approaches the Father, in Christ, through the Spirit, joining its heart and voice together in thanks and praise.
